Through the illustration of portraits of wild animals, discover the one that suits you best.

This series is based on the principle that we all look like an animal that would be our totem, that’s why the portraits are on a black or white background.

But also to express the extinction that awaits them following the transformations of the environment by man, white being the color of mourning in Japan and black in France.

surréalist

Coming from the “Lowbrow Art” movement in English, the pop surrealism or pop surrealism

is an artistic current born in the 1979’s, mixing two major currents.

Fond : une grotte surréaliste

Surrealism through dreamlike content and pop through graphic aesthetics.

Often colourful, pop surrealist paintings draw their source from the world of video games and world culture.

Through the landscapes and illustrations that will be classified in this category, the wish is to demonstrate that everyone has a different appreciation of the objects and shapes that surround them. This is why the elements of subjects are reappropriated and thus transformed, to create an analogy between what is shown and what this object could be.

Two themes whose series are in progress. On the one hand the illustration of cultures through their own masks.

And on the other the wonders revisited in a humorous tone.

The masks and wonders are two distinct series also in progress.

The masks and wonders of the world such as the Taj Mahal in its surrealist pop version can be found there.

As for the masks, symbols of cultures are illustrated. In each culture, this object is used in different ways (theatre, ball, etc.) and conveys different messages.
